This is not something to worry about. I simply try to follow some additional members every day and some of them will also follow my blogs.

It is hard to say, but I have seen that also, but , maybe they were looking for a different style or just wanted a smaller group to follow.

I would try not to take it personally. You can't please everyone. Stay true to who you are, and the right people will follow.

I think the whole "following" thing has gotten convoluted.  I have quite a few following me and likewise I follow quite a few myself but there is no way I could even think of visiting each one of these every day or even every week. 

Hi Joan --  it's very difficult to "find" those I follow as well as those who have followed me.   I don't worry about it much anymore but I have found out some I have followed for years seem to "disappear" and I "re-follow" -- 50 points for them(I guess).   

I wish, one could identify the latest followers, it is hard to see...I still don't feel the following is clear in the new format. A

Oh Joan,  it was either a mistake click or someone who hasn't been consistantly on here trying to streamline their life.  Forget it, I know you already have but forget it.

Joan, it may not mean a whole lot, but I am still with you!  Keep up the good work!!!!  

It may be something as innocent as someone canceling their AR account who was subscribed to you.

It would really be nice if we were informed of who was leaving us everytime, just like we are informed when someone starts to follow us, then we could ask why they left.

Yes, the new system seems to make it harder to track. Glad you didn't take it personally, Joan You are a favorite of mine! 

I remove folks on a pretty regular basis, at least once a month. For me, it has to do with them not commenting very often on my posts, when I keep commenting on their posts on a regular basis.

Besides remembering the number of followers how do you know Joan? You are an excellent blogger and  friendly person and I want to stay in your loop forever.

I've taken off those who have not written a blog or made comments for several months. One of them I considered a "friend", emailed him why, and the story was heartwardming why not. So I kept him on for sure.

I try not to worry abt that anymore.  I'd rather not know who unfollows me.

That happened to me last week I had to pull people up to figure the person is no longer on Active Rain,

 I am following you and happy to be doing so- Maybe they just were trying to simplify

I do not worry about who is following me or not following me. It would be nice if we could have consumers able to follow our blog and become followers.

I used to wonder about the same thing on FB. Did something happen to them? Or did I do something they didn't like? Then I learned to just let it go! 😊

I don't know why anyone would remove you Joan.  I have unfollowed people who become offensive or inappropriate in their recent blogging.  But not someone who is successfully selling all of Denver..

Joan - I don't know why anyone would stop following you, unless they are closing their account and their business. I wouldn't worry about it.

I just check to see if I accidentally removed you, but it wasn't me.  Who knows, the computer may have done it.  It removed points, pictures and blogs.  Maybe nobody removed you.

It's not about worry, it's about solutions to the thing you're worrying about so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

The new system has made is so much harder. Some people think having a lot of people to follow is hard to maintain. The truth is there are not that many that post regularly so it is okay to let them be. 

Joan Cox - that could be accident, perhaps. Though you are right - I do not have so much time to check on number of followers and who left following me!

I never worry about who is, or is not following. For me, it is full speed ahead!
