OK, I'll be the one to say it . . . because we're all over here trying on the Q & A department to see if it is a better fit!

From my observation, there are only 50 participating AR members. You got eight to read. That's 15%, not bad.
Of course there are more that 50 folks in the public domain. 70 readers of 7 Billion public....not so good.
Moral to the story, publish to public and use localized tags.

Good morning Dan. I would think, because there are lot more people out there than there are rainers and the content may have been more important to them.
Why does it make a difference?

That's an easy one Dan, there's a heck of a lot more Public than there is AR members

Like others have said a lot more "people" compared to "people on ActiveRain" If you market to a bigger audiance you get more traffic.

I would not rely on these statistics. However, you may wish to revisit your need for members only blogs which are unlikely to help your production.

all of those who follow you are not seeing you on their list of people they subscribe to.... the list is limited...that takes away from your visibility to other members....

Members Only posts just a year or so ago got just as much traffic as Public. We lost our "evangelist" in Bob Stewart, which is fine everyone should move on to bigger and better opportunities if given the chance, but he was NOT REPLACED.
