Hi Joe -- I share blog posts there but not much beyond that.  I have had people tell me they have "seen" me there.  It's likely an opportunity that I could better utilize but time is limited.  

Must not be using it "correctly"....can't say we ould call them a client.

Really?  Whatever I post here I post to Linkedin.  I have over 1,000 followers and to my knowledge not one customer.

Interesting Joe, I am on Linkedin, a lot of connections but never received any business from there that I am aware of.  Wondering if I am doing something "wrong" or not doing something right?

I post a link to my blogs daily and no as far as I know it has never done anything for me.

I do use LI and I like it.  I connect w/ past customers and networking buddies.  I have gotten some leads from there, but not a ton.  The main purpose there (for me) is top of mind awareness.  And, it is challenging to separate out what's from there vs. combo of efforts.  But, I do get many past customers telling me they see my updates.

I have many connections ... post blogs and add info/articles too.  I don't know that LinkedIn is the direct cause for any leads.  Do I think it contributes by increasing "awareness" (as Debbie Gartner mentions), provides another outlet for communication, and increases my "credibility" amongst other businesspersons?  Definitely.

Like others, I have not gotten anything from my use of it. Perhaps you could write a blog instructing some of us how to be more productive on Linkedin?

I have just dabbled on it, still trying to decide where to focus my social networking time. How do you use it Joe, that you get good results?

I may be in the camp of not using correcctly as I have not seen trackable results. It is very hard to say where business comes from directly - often it is the combination of sources that brings awareness and with it business.

Been on it for years - not leveraging it

It hasn't done much for me, but then again I haven't done much on it. 

If done correctly it can be a great source for real estate leads, when I was the one actively using it I spen about 4 hours a week using it. Much like anything you use to get leads, if you want the good ROI, master the skill.

I use linked in but not as well as I should be using it, mostly posting my blogs there, and occasionally sending a note to someone.
