I don't like your options. I would rather be a big fish in a big pond.

My experience is that there is less jealousy of success in big ponds that have schools of big fish.

It doesn't matter. I focus on my own business and don't concern myself with other agents' activities.

With over 5,000 Realtors here in Naples I think it's pretty obvious we're a small fish in a big pond.  To flip that would be amazing.

Debbie - I think I would rather be a big fish in a small pond, but I live in a big pond so I have no choice.

I've never been much of a water person. Can I just be a big dog on land? :)

I would prefer to be the stud stallion at Caliborne Farms in Kentucky.  I don't like to swim that much.

Interesting question because I swim in three. Here in Honolulu with about 7,000 agents and brokers, its more anonymous. In Crescent City, CA with around 60, the competition is "hand to hand" if you know what I mean because everyone knows each other. In Carmel-by-the-Sea, a happy medium.
