hi, I'm a web developer and I can customize wordpress to meet clients needs. realtors require idx experience. it's like if you haven't done it, nobody's gonna trust you to do it. how to go around it?

I know how to add the plugin, configure it. my understanding is that it connects to a database so users can retrieve up to date listings. big deal. I'm 100% confident I can do it. but how to prove it if nobody's gonna trust you in the first place???

You can IDX contractors thru your localed MLS. They will set up the IDX and It works great. Honestly it is not expensive.

That is why you do the 1st one deeply discounted and you use that WordPress agent website as your testimonial.

My recommendation is look up a few agents in your area and make them an offer they can not refuse.

Or you may want to verify those agents you look up have a WordPress website, and if IDX is present, go to the next one.
