John, it's getting hot here, it was cold, then warm in the winter...the comparison of Sales and the actual weather seems to be matching up hand in hand..ironically.  I do have some beautiful Listings that many are calling on to show, everyday..so it's starting to get sizzling hot!

Hot in the range of say $150,000 to $325,000, but I've seen a slowdown in the high end about that range that had been booming for awhile.

So hot like M C Hammer once said "Can't touch that".  Why? lack of inventory, low interest rates, and a great local economy.

James Brockway Ah ha, I think you've hit the nail on the head. It's been the high end homes in my area as well which is largely Coastal or waterfront. I'm wondering if the buyers pool may be shrinking from foreign investors i.e. China due to the Global econimic slowdown overall? Interesting.

Beatrice Briseno No doubt San Antonio as is most of Texas is still in a booming mode. My oldest daughter and her family just moved to Austin for business reasons and are loving it.

Richard Weeks Interesting how all these very positive answers have come from Texas. Is it too late to invest in TX? We are currently in escrow on an apartment complex in Greenville. I'm wondering if we should be selling just yet.

It's amazing to see how so many folks are actually doing in so many different geographical regions. It looks like Texas, Arizona, much of he Midwest, parts of the South and even the Eastern Seaboard seem to be still doing well overall.

In fact I've been hearing from everyone but folks from Califorina and most of the West Coast where I'm somewhat suspicious about what's actually happening.

But I can tell you first hand that the low to mid range (250-500k) still seem to be moving pretty well whereas again the higher end homes seen to be falling back.
