My pet peeve is people who for one reason or another are dishonest and not telling me the truth.  This has been my problem with real estate for some time now.

I like the tip from the agent tto carry extra pair of socks. 

Agents who don't answer their phone.

Agents on the other side who forget we are working together to make the deal work. It doesn't have to be a battle every hiccup

I completely agree with Cindy! That drives me crazy. Almost lost one a month ago over the same thing.

I hate when an approved buyer isn't seeious. I hate eating my valuable time.

Okay get ready. It is the agent that you are talking with that has to tell you how busy they are and how many deals they are working on and how long it will be before they have time to take care of your request. This really bugs me. I don't care and why don't they understand that?

If the floor is cold, wet, or dirty.  The shoes go back on.    

My pet peeve is nit picky first time home home-buyers who think they are entitled to every fix the inspector points out. Almos lost a deal this week over a non-working icemaker!

I have to agree with Gabe Sanders on this one.  I do not like being BS'ed.  The bigger insult, than the BS, is the people thinking I am ignorant enough to buy in on it.  Mark

I'm with John.  I just closed a house with the most micromanaging seller ever.  Honestly, this house should never have appraised and he got by with doing minimal repairs.  The real estate gods smiled on him and he still wasn't happy.  Whatever, it closed. 

My pet peeve is agents who don't treat me with collegiality and professionalism. But that wet feet issue sounds pretty yucky, as you said.

Margaret, there is nothing worse than walking on wet carpet! Yuk, indeed!!!!  I can't improve on your answer!

Sorry, but wet carpet does not go even close on my list to the agents/vendors who are impossible to reach( nothing works: emails, texts, calls). I'll never understand why it is ok. 

What constantly bugs me is the clients who know more than I do…or at least think they do. They have learned from surfing the net and talking to their advisors (friends and family) and that background has provided them with more knowledge than I have accumulated since being licensed in 1997 and working full time at my craft since them.

No…I don’t think so. Those people are really annoying.

Agents who cant email a Purchase Agreement. Seriously I have an agent who could not scan or email a contract to me. A time waster. Time to retire from the business if you can not keep up with the times.

My biggest pet peeve is how agents like to point out what is wrong with other agents, and continue to besmirch the reputation of this profession.
