In the past, I've assisted a few clients with moving.  I don't do it anymore, due to back problems.

I always offer to do what we can, but no one has ever accepted.  Most of our buyers are military, and their household goods are delivered to their door and moved right into the home!

I have helped get boxes and pack them up. I have also helped clients to find a local mover with good prices and results. I have not actually helped move their stuff from one house to another but maybe in the future. I am always there if needed but cannot lift heavy boxes.

yes. 2x. It was because Fannie Mae closed up shop at 5pm on a Friday and didnt get the memo the transaction funded and the buyers didnt get the key til the following monday. So they no longer had moving help so my husband and I moved them in! 

The other time was due to delay in closing as well. So we moved them in. LOL 

No , i have never help even thou i have wanted to ; to many thing could happen

I have not physically helped a client with their move. I have purchased furniture from clients to facilitate a move.

No. I am in my late 50's and have a bad back! I have however taken over pizza, salad and beer at the end of a moving day.

An agent helped me to take down a basketball hoop and backboard over the garage when I sold a rental property. 

OMG,.... NO...NEVER.... that's what movers are for.... I wouldn't want to see a mover delivering a buyer and collecting a fee!!

I have during a consultation tossed mattresses from the loft down to the first floor as well as carried a large rug down into a basement but I have not helped a client move. 

Yes, but only once. When I was in the real estate business, I was involved with a transaction that involved the sale of 6 homes, I was involved with 4 of them. I was not willing to take any chances.

Hi Sheila and Larry -- I've given clients names of movers, coordinated with people to pick up/take away items, given boxes, helped direct clean-up crews but have yet helped a client move.  

Can say that I have after all these years. 

I have a pickup and do take things to the dump on the Sellers behalf.

Not physically.

I have offered to do this, but no one has ever taken me up on it. I'm kind of glad. My back doesn't like to do a lot of lifting. 

Yes and I also helped a seller finish getting his last load of laundry out of the dryer as well as helping him empty his refrigerator.  Oh, did I mention that I was the buyer's agent in that transaction? Oh, the things we do!

Yes  if someone is in need of help I would help.  Helping and changing lives what a joy.

I do if they are elderly and need some help. Most clients have friends and/or get movers do to the job.

No that is one thing I have never done. I have sent over a cleaning team, when the sellers moved out of state and left the home dirty and I have sent over a yard guy to cut overgrown grass. These gestures were always appreciated and I listed their home when the sold that one and the moved up.

Not physically, but when I find them a home to buy, I'm helping them move, indeed!  

While I may point them to resources to make their move easier, I've never been involved in the actual moving. There's too much liability, and because it's outside the scope of the transaction there is also no insurance.

Physically ---- no. But, I have offered them local resources to pack up and then helped them find an agent in the new town (referral fee of course).

We help in all different ways throughout the transaction but physically packing and moving boxes or furniture may be a bit more than many of us could or should handle.

No I have not.  It would be a good thing, but I am short of time to spend with my family
