Usually start around 7:00 a.m. and the end comes whenever. I am not sure how you value time because you cannot really can't "buy" more time. My attitude is we are here on earth to do good works and you will be rewarded accordingly. Sometimes a simple thank you or a smile is a satisfying reward!

Of course I put a value on my time and guard it carefully. I start the work day around 7:30 to 8:00. I am often on the computer sending emails, working on my website, etc. until 9 or 10 at night.

Sounds like two schools. Those that are in the 7am start rolling club or the nuts who wake up way too early. LOL

I usually start around 7:30 and try to end my day by 6:00 PM I am a team leader and always have my phone on. My team is trained very well that I get only the concerning questions that come up. My buyers agents are the ones that I give hats off too. They work from day light to dark .Of course I am a 30 yr veteran and I did this also the first 20 yrs.

My work day starts at 7:30 in the morning and usually ends about 8:00 in the evening. A value on my time? Good question and one I have been asking myself a lot recently. Seems like I am working for less than the people at McDonald's. I am changing it up.

Generally I get up at about 7, take the kids to school in pajamas at around 7:30. Then I hit the computer. (or get ready for appointments or what ever I am doing). Most days my wife brings my coffee and breakfast to my desk for me, but sometimes I make my own. If I am not meeting with clients or have appointments in the evening I generally knock off at 5 or 6. But the day is full of interruptions when the kids get home. Sometimes I stop for an hour or so to play a game with them. Often the end of the work day is defined as when I need to take some kid to baseball, karate or something else. even then I will make a few phone calls to people while I wait. As I find my self working nights and weekends as needed I do not feel guilty taking some time for kids mid day.

5am to 5pm. Bike 10 to 12 miles every day. Shower, breakfast and prep for days activities, emails, phone calls, etc. 9am, DFD, meetings, seminars. 12 noon lunch. 1;30pm - 5pm complete tasks and scheduled activities. 5pm, relax, dinner, free time. Like most professionals, I value my time and bill my clients accordingly.

A home office on Main Street is never-ending. Locals drop in every hour of the day to discuss any and everything. Usually 5:30 to start on the computer. My blog is done by 7:30 and guests start coming in for coffee. Around 9:00 I am looking to work out or jog. Back at work by 11:00 and working until 9:00-10:00 at night. Stopping to play at any given time is very important. NEVER EVER GIVE ME A SCHEDULE!

I have to have my coffee, then my shake, then I hit the gym. Usually my work days don't start until 9:00 or 10:00 these days. They often end later in the evening. Sometimes I take afternoons off, sometimes my lunches are extended, sometimes I golf, but I usually work a good 6-8 hours a day. Of course I value my time. That's why I got into real estate.

Yes I put a value to my time but the hard part is having people pay me for it!
Don't work much after 7pm anymore.

My day starts at 3am. I exercise/ get ready by 4:15am, then start work at 5am. I stop to get kids ready for school by 6:15am, then continue again around 8am. Work until I get them around 5pm. Dinner and kids from 5-8pm and begin the 2nd half of my day at 8:30pm or so until 10pm or so.
Repeat, rinse and recycle on a daily basis. Maybe on Sundays I get up at 5. Alot of value to my time. I'm building relationships while I'm awake.

First of all, I don't put a value on my time, just my performance. I work from the time I get up ntil the time I go to bed. It could be as early as 8 amd and as late as 3 am

My days starts at 5:30 am.
My day ends when the daily list is complete.
Without a list, a plan, you can never know when your day is over because all tasks will expand to consume all the time available...ALWAYS!
Those who choose not to manage their TASKS value their time very little.
Do I put a value on my time? Of course I do.

My time is all over the board. We do have a monthly schedule the secretary prepares with about 10 floor time slots for each agent of 3 hours each. These are times an agent is to be on duty for walk-ins,etc. If we have a last minute showing appt there is usually someone else available to fill in. Otherwise if we need time off we trade with each other.
I've put in 13 hour days or minimum of 5-6 hours when business slows down. Less morning hours and more evenings or weekends as that is when a lot of Sellers or Buyers are free after they get off work from their jobs. I do like the flexibility hours of being a Realtor. Of course, the more you work the more you get accomplished. There is always paperwork as I don't have an assistant.
If there is an important family function then that is scheduled into my calendar. Customers need to know that we don't drop everything to accomodate them all the time. We do have a life and our time is valuable.

I usually start around 4-5 AM and end when the work is done. Sometimes it's 3 PM other times it's 9 PM. If I was paid an hourly wage it would be around $2.21 an hour.. But I do love the work so it's worth it

If your assistant starts work at 8 a.m., you want to be in the office as well unless you have an early appointment.
The day never ends for real estate professionals. That is why we have voice mail and email access to be able to determine the urgency of messages.
