Yes, I've had the same experience as you, Frank. Plus, my sellers think it's awesome that I'll be blogger to gain more exposure for their homes. Active Rain definitely works for me.

People should realize that consistent blogging on ActiveRain puts them in the eyes of consumers who in turn become the clients!

My market reports do get few comments but on an average 200 views every week for 7 markets! Some of the Internet leads mentioned that they see my reports 'everywhere'!

I get new business from my blogs nearly every week. Buyers and sellers seem to be finding me with all the exposure AR gives. You have to put in the time and effort to get the results, most dont have the patience to do that

My blogging for years kept me on the front page of my area ion the internet.    That was the biggest help I have seen.

I agree, some agents think they would get instant business, but I'm like you.  I'm in it for the long haul.

I do think it generates business. I know people find me on the internet and know I know about my local market. The longer I am here, the more it pays off. Some of the newer members give up too soon. You have to build a portfolio of blogs to create a presence.

I have successfully referred out clients, and AR makes finding the right agent easy. I search for those agents within the membership. I've recently received some nice leads off of my blog. I'm sticking with AR.

Yes I have made many connections and built relationships right here in the Rain. Also, have learned many new things, and have found that Rainer's have helped me!

Yes I think I believe Active rain builds your business by link building and out reach to clients.

Although I haven't been as consistent as I should have been, I KNOW AR helps me find new business. I've closed a few deals from Out of State Absentee Owners because they've found our market reports on AR. Every bit of exposure helps. ~Marisa

I do think it does. I get call and emails as a result of AR and know they can only be coming from AR because of the topic or question.  I think it will only continue to get more and more common.

Undoubtedly, ActiveRain is the best platform - just not for blogging but also for referrals!

I've made out well with the ActiveRain connections, not so much with the blogging.

I get some leads from the blogging, but it is all about the whole internet presence

Yes and blogging in general helps drive leads. The more quality information you post the more you are seen an an expert in that area.
