Debbie, all of the above as some agents do not return feedback in a timely manner, yet when THEIR listing is shown they want feedback within 10 minutes!!!

Hi Debbie,
I email with a link to the property and a promise to return the favor.  I follow up if I suspect there is a reason, but most of the time I take silence as an answer.

After an agent shows my property, I'll either send them an email or text asking for feedback.  But, I only ask once.

If I read correctly Larry Johnston and Evelyn Johnston may be using ShowingTime to solicit feedback...and hound the agent until a response is received.

ALERT!

This is the very best way to get invalid information. Those of you who place your trust in such processes need to be aware of the situation being created.
The feed back may be on the wrong address and when the good will of the agent has been lost, punitively faulty data.

If you do not care enough about the listing to talk to the agent, you need to think very carefully before turning the dogs loose.

If it is a property for which feedback is benefical, I will advise the showing agent, when they call me to schedule the visit, that I will contact them for their buyer feedback. 90% of the time they call me while standing in the driveway of the subject house.

Feedback and 'interest' are entirely different issues. In most cases, the buyers needs to see a few dream home go up in smoke. Properly motivated, the able buyer will not wait for me to solicate their interest level.

As always, I do not use and never, ever, ever provide feedback to automated systems or call centers.

All aget an email feedback request from my office.  Often I call agents as well.  A builder I work with is offering an extra commission incentive, that is a really good reason to call agents.

It depends on the agent. I will do one of the three. Some agents I know very well so I'll shoot them a text and they'll respond when they are able to.

If they don't answer my initial contact that's it. I do not try again.

I don't mind giving feedback. However, since everyone in the world can find my cell number and contact me directly calling my office, leaving a number, and then having me try to call your office to give you feedback? I'm sorry that would not be one of my priorities.

I never ask for feedback, and only provide it when appropriate. Sometimes my buyers don't want to let the sellers know they are considering writing an offer, and many buyers need time to analyze and compare several properties before narrowing their choices to the point of making an offer.

I always, but always provide feedback. Typically by email as our showing service sends me an email asking for it. If there's no interest, I like to say why. Sellers and their agents want and need this information.

Hi Debbie -- I let my sellers know that the best feedback is a written offer and will give them feedback after open houses(number of groups, general comments) or if there are questions asked by agents or prospective buyers.

I call each agent for feedback.  Even if their client isn't interested, the feedback provided can be helpful to me and to the seller.

I generally call twice and text once.  After that, I remember the name of the agent that blew me off.

In my area, I think that it is safe to say that most agents have a cellphone listed and are married to it. Therefore, texting seems to command a quicker response than an email or phone call.
