Kathy Streib , there can be missed talent intertwined elsewhere other than the Featured Only. It's another tactic I'm willing to employ though. The "dirty socks" rule may apply to the plethora of posts seen although not many are sticking if you know what I mean.

Kevin- I use the Features Only filter. I think some of this may be a result of the encouragement that has been given to "like" just to do it ant not necessarily because we genuinely "like" something. I've seen 3 or 4 in a row from the same member but different posts. It wouldn't be too hard for someone to generate a lot of "likes" from friends.

Roy Kelley that might be my missing link, time. I rarely will comment for comments sake (aka points) unless I believe I am adding to the entirety.
Michael Jacobs the community is constantly evolving and when I am inconsistent in the involvement the frustration seems to mount. There have been more members that I followed pass away and/or move on than are remaining. Still, AR remains #1 for my Real Estate entertainment and information venue.
Debbie Reynolds , my exact point! I understand why it is done, however, began to think that I was making a futile attempt at performing CPR on myself. I am beginning to see growth being stunted instead of expanding via our point system.
Debbie Laity when it comes to following and followers I resort to an old classic song by The Byrds to explain my perspective.
Praful Thakkar that's an idea I'm anxious to try! Thank you for helping me learn how to get off of the dirt road and on to some smooth asphalt again.

Kevin J. May I do not go over old Blog Home any more - best thing is to read the Daily Drop and follow the ones who you like. You don't need to comment on all their posts anyways.
You can't stop someone from posting 10 at a time - however, they are overlooked anyways!

You will find your following and they will find you. It can take a bit of time, but the more active you are, the quicker it happens.

I know exactly what you are saying and see 4 or 5 in a row from the same person. Then a little farther down the page are 4 or 5 more. These usually get no comments and the writer is probably not commenting either on other posts. I do not know what the answer is but seems like an epidemic has broken out.

Hi Kevin -- It took me a while to find people I wanted to follow(previously known as subscribing) --- for me it was all a part of the process. You will soon find what works best for you.

Follow the bloggers you prefer and don't worry about the rest. If you are making lots of comments, many will reciprocate and that is about all you will have time to do.

There are plenty to follow Ron Marshall, more than I could count. The trend leans toward quantity over quality and that's where I'm perplexed.

I hope that you find some folks to follow that have some quality content, Kevin, and soon!!!

Without going into specifics Ron & Alexandra Seigel, certain styles of repetitive content posts.

Kevin,
I am not sure what you mean, what excesses are you talking about? A
