We are now back in high school and it is all aboutwho gets the most upvotes, boys and girls.  Having a conversation is sooo yesterday, doncha know?  

Alan May you are 100% right - I have requested Kris Neese about this and hope this gets scheduled as some fix - since originally, the answers used to be in Chronological order. Once 'Upvote' feature was added, this order got affected.

Yes, they rearranged things, and MANY have been complaining about this.  It's now sorted by # of upvotes and then in reverse chronological order.  I also find it very confusing.

Kris Neese FYI I think I've seen at least 5 or 6 q's on here and almost all responses in agreement here.  You may want to reconsider the order. I thought it was better before.

I don't understand the whole Q & A section or why we needed it/it was a good idea.  I'm just here for the points.

I HATE IT, they are re-shuffled by UPVOTES and makes it impossible to follow the conversation, many times there is more info in the comments and response from the writer that the initial question

Yes I do. I htink the way it works is that the most upvoted answers show first then in chronological order. They should just have a like button that likes the answer and leave the chronoolgy alone :)

I did not realize it was 'upvotes'.  Thought most recent answer was at the top of page.  Shows what I know.

I don't mind the upvote but don't think it should have any bearing on order.   I like answers/responses in chronological order --- it makes more sense to me.

I do not like the change either. I hope they will change it to be in chronological order.

Yes....and to our minds worse...theyy do not belong as "front page news"....the new...not improved format is less than professional in appearance in our opinion.

Alan, I agree with you one this... it's very annoying to say the least. I think it has something to do with the "upvotes," but it changes the logic of the "conversation."

I don't understand them either and to be honest, I don't try to get any logic in that order. I never liked 'upvote' idea.

They aren't in order, and I think that stinks. This way it makes it difficult to follow a conversation on a popular topic. 

Yes, they are difficult because recently AR decided to let us upvote the best answers and now they are all out of order.

It is the upvotes that are making it difficult and I agree with you Alan, it is hard to follow. Leave them in chronilogical order so we can follow the thead.

I'm so happy you raised this issue, Alan, and I agree.

I am finding the new formats less conducive to interaction than before.  As a result, I've been spending less time on AR and not enjoying the time I do spend here.  There used to be a sense or organization, but it feels more like a free-for-all now.  

The one with the most upvotes goes to the top, and so does the most recent post.

Yes...comments are just plopped anywhere in the thread.

I agree with you, I would rather see chronological order also.  They added this upvote, and form of "like" to move it up to the first on the list--like a must read.

Alan, I'm in the same boat as you.  I'm not sure how this works either.
