Hello Debbie, I do set one day aside. Mid week preferrably but not in stone. I have called it my day off in my head and still work on different items. Because I do not have a schedule for the day other than do'dads even working seems more relaxing. All a mind set isn't it? Mark

I am liking trying to take Sundays off. It doesn't work out because I get a lot of calls and open houses work best on Sundays.

We rarely take time off. But it also depends on the weather. This Sunday, the high will be in the low teens...Brrr!

Debbie... I've been trying now for over 20 years (not working out so good for me, yet). I take time off as I can grab it, basically.

Debbie Reynolds I do not take a day off - however, I do take time off if needed during the day - as well as for some weekends if I have to go out-of-state for some work.
Ideally, I should have a fixed schedule - including a day off!

Nope! I try to, but just when I do that something comes up. Like today. I told everyone at the office I would be leaving early to get home to take care of some projects. Well I did leave the office early, but I got home just before eight tonight. That's because I got busy and ended up showing rural property. So I left the office early to show property, but got home late because of it. I'm not complaining. That's the way things go.

I used to schedule to take Wednesdays off and get my personal things done on this day. It slowly faded away.

I hate to say it Debbie, but we are workaholics. It's very seldom we take time off.

I don't try because of so many pesonal issues and committments. I wish I could.

No, I don't unless there is something special we want to do, then we both plan to take the day off. Other wise we book when our clients are available to look or list.

It is usually Saturday for me. I spend the whole day with my kids and do things I need to.

I shoot for Monday.
On any typical day, say Wednesday, when asked by a Citizen if I work 24/7 I always advise, 'I always take Wednesday off.'

Good question Debbie,
Monday is always a good a day to take off for us, although that is not set in stone, nothing really is. A

I do try to devote one day to our family, but sometimes that is not the case, and I know what the time value of money is....and there will be times I can take more time away. Great question, Debbie.

James, I feel the same way. the only true time away is when I am away (out of the area) and even then I have my devices with me to keep me connected. I am getting a day off here and there and love it when I do. Having a house to take care of takes time and that usually doesn't fall to you guys to worry about.

Funny, Gabe! I delude myself into thinking that soon I'll be caught up and can take time off. I've proven to myself that taking down time does clear out the brain and refresh me, but I tend to be like an addict-I can always find another reason to check email, follow up on something, etc. Thank God I love what I would do or I would probably be miserable!

Without fail I take the day after Sunday and the day before Monday off!
Or, to put it in other words, no, not any days off for me.
