Gladys Webb door knocking is perhaps much less compared to cold calling. And perhaps it depends on the area, too.

For some reason, I never master the art of either!

I have added that to my marketing for this year. I'll let everyone know how it works. I think the success ratio can vary from market to market. I'm in a rural area where traditional methods still have impact. 

With the rise in socil media and internet, I would say very few agents do door knocking these days.

I mix door knocking in with my farms.  Had a mentor tell me even when he gets too busy he forces himself to do at least one a day to keep the habit.  He is currently attending the week long KW Family reunion in Florida.  Mark

It is in my work plan three times a week for expireds and FSBO's. One day a month is around my home for farming.

I always take a small bag of candy, hot chocolate with a business card and a slogan (this month was It's cold now but it will be warm soon and the local market will to) to give out.
