I have not had great success because you need to be so consistent every 3 months with a new card to to the same farm. They do work with the right message...it's just not my favorite marketing. 

I do not do the postcard mailing.

I do not send, but  I know they bring business if you do it for a long time. 

Some say yes, others say no...

Yes, but you have to be continuous.  We set us a mailing every month for  year at a time.

This is exactly how I feel about trying any one way to market. 

I used to do them before the housing disaster. Got results then. I plan to do more of it this year.

You should check out Barbara Todaro's blog and her posts about postcard marketing. You have to be consistent. I used to do at one time and hope to start again this year.

I do send out postcards. You have to be consistent with them. It's all about name recognition. 

If they are done correctly you will get some results so I would say do it.

I just sent out 818 "Sold in Less Than 60 Days" through EDDM to a community where I had a listing. It's my first time trying EDDM. I'll keep you posted on the turnout! :)

I have a few farm areas I work, and have to send post cards, as I do not have email addresses.    I get a few calls, and think as time goes on, it will get better.
