I am not sure what is happening but that coudl be a trend. I tend to skip over these data hounds and self promotion and stuck with my favorites and those leaving comments for me.

What I'll be interested in watching is the fusion that will be called Zulia.

Don't you find that once you have identified a poster as a prolific personal data trafficker, and you don't like personal information, you simply skip over their questions and blogs? The consequence is, should they ever have something important to say, there will be no readers.

I do not get that sense. Like Wayne, maybe that is only because I only click on the blogs that appear something that I can learn from or make an addition to.

Kathleen Daniels maybe it's because of the bloggers I tend to follow, but I think I see more real estate info. Sure there are some humorous items and personal too, but I am not getting a Facebook-like experience. 

I have noticed that I scan through a lot more posts before I see any topics that I'm interested in commenting on. I feel like AR/trulia will be bought out at some point.

I have mixed feelings about this.  I have seen a lot of personal content and have also seen great real estate content.  I am however confused about how Trulia and AR are merging and how that is going to affect the experience of being on ActiveRain.  I also think that some of the posts are not put into the proper category. 

As with all communities, we evolve.

The likes  and tags features remind FB. 

Why not? The blog should be interactive, readers want to know who you are and what you like.  

Kathleen Daniels I think it's got Facebook like interface, however, content and discussions are still about Real Estate - exception is just some posts.
