Molly,
I did the course via correspondence before online became a convenience. I learn better that way. I would say, it depends on the individual. A

I prefer in person. you get benefit of asking questions, listening to others questions, some discussion, some networking, and you are being seen!

The failure rate is better than half on your first time out in Florida therefore I suggest the up close and personal approach rather than online.

I would agree that you will benefit most from the in-person class. It is much easier to ask questions.

I believe it is better to take the course in person.

Time is a tough one for me as well, Molly. So, I generally do the online courses. However, the prelicensing course is tough and the classroom courses tend to have better passing rates for the state exam.

We do online simply because you can get through the course faster.

I suggest that you use the online courses then make sure that you use as many of the practice tests over and over again as you possibly can.. I could not stay awake in the live classes. They were so slow and so boring. Take advantage of any special classes for the math and passing the test. I used Duane Gomer and got hold of C21 test questions also. I took tests 2 a day, morning & lunch. over and over and over until I got over 90% on them. Passed the first time. Good Luck.

I like the networking . Plus there is someone there to answer questions . Most of all It is the meeting up with other agents and the class discussions

I've been in the business for so long that there were no on-line options for me. But I know I don't do well on-line--can't concentrate as well as when I'm in a classroom environmnet. Plus, I like the interation with fellow students. I think part of your decision has to include understanding which type of learning you prefer.

I would say take it in person. You are able to interact with the teacher and students. I feel it is easier to learn that way. I guess it would depend on the student. If you take it online I would definitely recommend a cram class before taking the state exam.

If you're new to the business I would highly reccomend doing it in person. I took my last licensing class online because of my schedule and I had already been licensed before. The class was more of a formality with some updating rather than really learning the material. Plus there are connections you will make.

Attending in person is one of the best way to understand - however, online courses are equally good now-a-days.

I took it online and felt I was much better prepared. In fact, the course included an in person weekend cram session. I had my hand up so often when no one else did, even the instructor jokingly said his classroom students were making him look bad since he knew I had taken it online. Most of the people you go through the course with are going to wash out, anyway, so I do not see the value of networking at that point...if time is tight, do it online.

I TRIED to do the online course but I couldn't focus at home and I am someone who needs to ask questions. So, I then signed up for a Sat/Sun, Sat/Sun class and it was awesome. In two weekends I took the course and passed. It all depends on your learning style. My funds were tight but I ended up paying twice to find the right fit. (Internet course and then the in class.) Good luck!

The in person classes allow you to network with others that you should get to know.
