My story is a long one, but basically after some bad experiences, the broker at the office where I've been for the last four years, made me feel like I would be a valuable asset and he wanted me there. I wasn't going to be just another person paying desk fees and filling a seat.

I started with a huge box company, moved to another one, than to smaller, again to even smaller,...long story short. I work now with a lower in a small boutique company and this is my best situation so far.

My fist brokerage, MKB Realtors in Roanoke, Virginia, was certainly the best, and I would not have switched in that town.
When I moved to Durham, North Carolina, I chose the seemingly local one with a strong presence on Realtor.com 5.5 years ago. I then switched to a larger firm with a great Broker-in-Charge, with great downtwon involvement in my new town.
