Now, unlike most "About Me" sections, I'm going to write an actual "About Me." I have a good relationship with my mother, good teeth, and good shoes. I'm a man of adventure. I'm happy, clean, and healthy. I'm a former Marine; but like they always say, "once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine." :) I am a proud veteran, and recipient of 16 service awards and medals. Considering my birthday is also the birthday of the Marine Corps, I think it was destiny.
I also teach and participate in CrossFit, not only because it is physically and mentally stimulating, but also because it presents a challenge that I am passionate about overcoming each time I take part. It has truly changed my life forever! If you were to ask me why I CrossFit, this is why...
Traveling is a huge part of my life. I absolutely LOVE the excitement of getting on a plane headed towards a new destination just waiting for me to explore. I've been fortunate enough to visit many gorgeous, spectacular places.
Sometimes I still wish I was a Ghostbuster, just so I could say, "I'm a Ghostbuster" when asked what I do for a living, then step back and cross my arms like it was 1992. But seeing as how the REAL Ghostbusters already took care of the lurking threats, I occupy my daytime working hours here at ActiveRain!
I'm new to Seattle, but loving every minute of it! In my free time, I enjoy hiking the awesome trails nearby, camping in small tents in the middle of the woods, getting caught up on the latest 'New York Times Bestsellers' list, dabbling in gourmet cooking, studying sports nutrition, and continually following The Sartorialist; social media advertising at its finest....
