Peter Lui is franchise owner/operator of Dryer Vent Wizard (DVW), Dry Clothes, Safe Homes, a home service franchise based in northwest Seattle.  He purchased the rights to franchise DVW in September 2007. 

Dryer Vent Wizard specializes in dryer fire prevention and "urgent response" dryer and vent maintenance, repair, replacement and alterations. DVW services keep dryers functioning properly, prevent dryer fires and reduce energy costs. 

Prior to becoming a Dryer Vent Wizard franchisee, Mr. Lui was a Sr. Finance Manager for Western Wireless International/Alltel.

Lui, born in China and raised in Hong Kong came to the U.S. when he was 19. Working 80 hour weeks as a window, store front, and mirror installer, he saved enough money to attend college. While attending classes full time he also worked 40 hour weeks.  He became a U.S. citizen and moved to the Seattle, WA area after graduating with a B. A. in accounting from University of Montana in 1994.  He became a licensed CPA in April of 1996.   

During his 13 years as an accountant/CPA Peter worked for a variety of companies large and small as well as non-for-profits.   In his spare time Peter enjoys fund raising for the American Heart Association, American Cancer Association and Public Broadcasting.  He is also an active member of Mountaineers, a nature lovers group, enjoys yoga and tennis.  Lui, 39, is single and resides in Lynnwood, Washington.
