As a seasoned agent with Keller Williams I recognized that the crazy market we are experiencing will not continue forever.
While we all are chasing the short sales, foreclosures and REO to sell this market is for the present.
Within the next couple of years our markets will change again. It’s historic.
Many of the market experts are already talking about niche marketing as the next wave of marketing to come our way.
As a niche marketer myself I have identified certain smaller niche markets that I have been able to dominate within my larger effective market area which is the Northwest Suburban areas of Chicago.
Specifically, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estate and Schaumburg.
I know these areas very well and have witnessed the many of the communities grow from their inception.
However, I also recognized that there is hundreds of other real estate agent that work these same areas.
So, in an economical effort to take over my own special corner of the world I decided to niche into these larger markets.
At present I work with the Robert Kiyosaki Real Estate Investment Seminars here in the Chicago area and have picked up several investors as clients I am also in the process of developing relationships with several of the developers of condo’s and property in a few of the ski areas that I love to ski at.
I can then turn around and market these ski areas to my local market as a way to find and identify many of the people in my market area that are thinking of downsizing to a smaller property then using their additional cash to live their dream of living also in a ski area.
At present in addition to my general real estate practice I also am a Productivity Coach for my real estate office here in Palatine, Ill.
It’s a real pleasure to help and see these agents redefining their practices by discovering smaller niche markets that they now can be a solid member of and become the real estate expert of choice within that niche with little or no competition.
Now that you know a little about my practice I also have had lots of agents refer to me as my knowledge of the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago is extensive.
I also have a very caring and passionate presence with client’s helping them in a caring way with the dreaded experience of relocation.
