My SRES designation not only says a lot about my qualifications to work with Seniors, but it focuses on my respect for the Senior community and their trusting me to represent them. I check on them periodically to make sure they are not alone and lonely. I think that we have become a society that has forgotten those who came before us and how they are responsible for the comforts we enjoy today. When I work with Seniors, they receive cards and flowers. I even send baskets of goodies from time to time. If I'm lucky, one day I'll be a Senior and would hope to have people around me who care.
I'm now working on my ABR designation because I feel that my relationships with my young Buyers have culminated and germinated over the years to be one of the joys of being a Realtor. I work with them like the parents they enjoy being with. And I also become the voice that they want to counsel them on what "not" to do when buying their first property. I always explain that you never want that house you love to own you. When they insist on buying a more expensive property, I explain to them that they may in the end resent the roof over their heads and each other, if they are a couple. We have all had to work our way up in life. No one starts at the top of their dream!
I'm a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Recording Artist. I have been a published songwriter since 1978. I play piano and percussions. As a singer, I have three octaves and still enjoy singing when I have the chance. I have been a massage therapists for 15 years. It's another career that's fulfilling to my spirit, as I help others get to function better. I enjoy and love my clients. I oil paint landscapes and portraits in my spare time. I love classical to country music. I'm a member of the Humane Society and have 4 dogs and 2 cats. I'm happy to say that I brought to Real Estate a well-rounded background in business and pleasurable activities. When you choose do the things you love, you'll find that there's more love for you to give to your family, friends and clients!
I lenjoy my first time Buyers and Seniors. My second language is ASL. Seller or Buyer, I make sure my clients know the market. Knowledge is a tool for working together and a successful partnership!
