DESIGNATIONS: 

ABR:  Accredited Buyer Representative - Requirements for this coveted designation include a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation, and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

CRS: Certified Residential Slpecialist - The CRS is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential field.  The CRS designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.  Since 1977, the council of Residential Specialists have been conferring the CRS designation on agents who meet its stringent requirements.  Currently only 4% of all active realtors hold this designation.

CNHS: Certified New Home Specialist - This Designation is designed to further the knowledge of the new home building process and to work with builders in the sale of new construction.

GRI: Graduate Real Estate Institute - the Virginia Realtor Institute program is composed of 90 hours of instruction.  The program is based on objectives mandated by the NAR and has been developed to respond specifically to the educational needs of Virginia realtors.

SRS:  Seller Representative specialist - The Premier Seller Agency Designation is designed to improve the professional business skills in representing sellers in real estate.
