Cliff started Certified Home Inspection Services in 2002 after more than 30  years in the residential construction industry in Alaska.  Cliff is a Registered Combination Building Inspector with the State of Alaska and carries numerous Certificates with professional associations in his field, including:  a Certified Home Inspector with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), a member of the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI) and  a Certified Home Inspector with the Inter-National Asscociation of Certified Home Inspectors (Inter-NACHI).  Cliff is also a Registered Environmental Health Specialist, a Registered Hazardous Substance Professional and a Residential Radon Measurment Provider with the National Environmental Health Association.  In addition Cliff is recognized by the International Code Council (ICC) as a Combination Building Inspector with certificates in Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Inspections.  He is also Certified by the Alaska Housing Finace Corporation as an Energy Rater. Cliff has perormed hundreds of building inspections in the Mat-Su Valley, Anchorage and surrounding communities.  Cliff continues to self educate himself with  participation in seminars, workshops and classes adressing  building science issues through his membership in the Alsak Building Science Network (ABSN).
