I was the kid who didn’t break apart my Rubik’s cube so that I could get all the colors lined up—I was the kid who solved it. And I’ve not stopped taking on impossible, beat-your-head-against-the-wall challenges since. My clients are my lifeblood and my #1 priority. | Jay was great. He explained everything in complete detail about what he found as he did the inspection. He answered all of my questions right on the spot and gave extra background and details on "what if" type scenarios that may have caused some of the issues he found and things to watch out for if we did purchase the house. Because of his inspection, there were several discoveries of hidden circumstances that helped us get over $17,000 in consideration in the closing of the house. We ended up purchasing the house and got the owner to fix several important issues as well. I highly recommend Up Close home inspection and Jay Latzman. He is worth ever penny and in fact is extremely affordable and reasonably priced for all of the work he does |

| What an amazing experience!!! I was very impressed with how detailed and thorough my home inspection was. The inspection report that I received just a few hours after your home inspection was very professional, orderly, easy to read and contained large HD color photos of things that needed to be fixed. My real estate agent he was very impressed as well and will be recommending Jay Latzman of Up Close Home Inspection to one of his clients later in the week. Jay is an excellent communicator! I highly recommend him! |

| Jay Latzman was a very honest, and professional home inspector! He was incredibly thorough, and very meticulous while inspecting our soon to be first home. Jay gave us alot of good an useful information about the inspection process, and the home in particular. Jay was very knowledgeable, and confident in his inspection process, and that gave us alot of reassurance about the home we were purchasing! I would certainly, highly recommend him and Up Close Home Inspection in the future to everyone I know. Wonderful experience! |

| I was very satisfied with the thoroughness and attention to detail that the home inspector Jay used when inspecting my home. I really think it's great that Jay took the time to really teach me about the house. I feel so much more confident now because I will be at home while my husband is at work and knowing how to work everything make me feel safe and secure. He is a very effective teacher and explained things so easily so that I didn't get confused! I will recommend him to all of my friends and family as well. You really need to make sure your inspector is on an expert level and you get an excellent report. He is definitely an expert, gives you an amazing inspection report and is a genuinely nice guy! |

| I'm so happy with Up Close Home Inspection! I was so relieved to have had Jay Latzman as my Home Inspector. He provided great customer service which was very important to me as I was a first time homebuyer. During the inspection of my newly bought house I learned a ton of helpful information about how my home works including important shut off valves. I was given the inspection report the same day of the inspection which was incredibly efficient. The BuildFax report I got was amazingly helpful so that I knew which contractors had previously worked on the roof and plumbing. I would recommend Up Close Home Inspection to all other first time home buyers. I got an excellent price compared to other home inspectors. My favorite part was that I was able to ask all the questions I wanted and still could text/call/email Jay if I ever had questions and that he always got back to me right away. |

| I frequently buy investment property in the Detroit area and I am so impressed with Jay from Up Close that I had him inspect my own home I am buying knowing that he has my best interest in mind and that he would make sure the house is safe for my family. If trusting him with the safety of my family isn't a testimonial to how thorough and professional Jay is, I'm not sure what else can be said. Even though I should have probably paid double for the inspection that I had done, Jay made sure the cost was very reasonable, so much so that I felt like I should write this review to try and compensate him even more. He is such a nice and personable guy, always easy to talk to, and beyond all that, a fantastic home inspector. I highly recommend Jay and Up Close Home Inspection for everyone reading this. Whether you are spending $100K or $2.5 million on a home, get Jay from Up Close. As a real estate investor, I KNOW when an inspector is bad, good, and when they are great.
