Arizona is a great place to live, raise a family, vacation, or invest. In Arizona there are plenty of activities to do, from hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, skiing (water and snow), to mountain biking, sporting events, shopping, camping, etc... Anything you may enjoy elsewhere, you will probably find somewhere in Arizona. In Phoenix alone we average 300 days of sunshine, and contrary to belief, we only have a few months of hot weather. And with air conditioning in your home, car, office, and stores, you rarely are exposed to the heat, unless you prefer the outdoors. With Tempe Town Lake, Lake Pleasant, and Saguaro Lake nearby, you can retreat to these desert oases when the heat starts acting up. Other cities such as Flagstaff, Prescott, and Sedona also offer a great escape from the desert heat. Flagstaff for example has snow skiing, hiking, snow boarding and other winter act ivies you may enjoy. The Grand Canyon is near Flagstaff and is one of natures greatest accomplishments. Lake Powell is a couple hours further North and a great place to visit. The Colorado River is also a site to behold. Lake Havasu and London Bridge are a great place to take advantage of the river and views. Arizona is rich with history, from the Native Americans, to early settlers there is much to see and learn about our state. There are numerous sites and settlements to explore throughout Arizona, from Montezuma's castle to Tombstone there are plenty of places to see and enjoy. In Phoenix we have museums like Arizona Hall of Fame Museum, Arizona Military Museum, Arizona Mining & Mineral Museum, Arizona Science Center, Arizona State Capitol Museum, Central Arizona Museums Association, Hall of Flame, The Heard Museum, Heritage Square, Luke AFB Air Park Museum Association of Arizona, Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix Police Museum, Pioneer Arizona Living History Museum, Pueblo Grande Museum & Cultural Park. There are so many places to see, so many things to do that I would type my fingers to the bone naming and describing them all on this page.
