| Let me tell you about Terri Votanek and her company Transition Home Staging. I have worked with her on two very difficult properties that after her transformation I was able to sell them. The first was a vacant home on a busy street. The sellers just moved out and did what they thought was everything to prepare the home including paint, granite & new carpeting. They were prepared for the long haul in a difficult market. I was prepared for months of feedback from realtors saying they didn't like the location. Terri made the home look like a show place. It sold in three weeks. The other was an overpriced home a lovely lake. The home sat vacant for a year. With the help of Terri's excellent taste and eye for design we got an offer in 20 days. | Terri Votanek staged a home in Wauconda for me last year. When I listed it, the home was vacant and I explained to the seller how great it would look in pictures if we had it staged. The seller agreed to pay for it, and it was the best money they could have spent. The pictures looked amazing and people who looked at it even asked if the furniture could be purchased! It was sold and closed under 90 days at 94% of asking price! The next time I list a home that is vacant Terri Votanek will be the first person I call. |
