| My wife and I were interested in purchasing a single family home in the Venice area. Having never been in the area we asked a friend to recommend a real estate agent. Our friend recommended Tami Pocevic from Keller Williams Realty. We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, competent and hard working agent. Since we were from out of state, Tami started emailing us listings 1 month before we arrived in Venice. In view of the fact that we run a large business we could only devote 6 days to house hunting. The day after we arrived Tami met us at her office, took us on a tour of the greater Venice area and began showing us the 10 properties she had already set up for the day. Over the next 4 days Tami and her team showed us well over 35 properties. In the end my wife and I decided on a property. On the night before we left Tami met us where we were staying and helped us formulate an offer which was submitted a few minutes before midnight. Over the course of the next week Tami helped negotiate the final offer which was accepted. Not only did Tami help us find and purchase the home she also put us in touch with all the various contractors, (locksmith, landscaper, pool company, etc.) that we needed to make sure the house stayed in tip top condition. | I must confess that before I met Tami I had little faith in Realtors. Some years ago I had sold a home by myself and didn’t fully comprehend the role of a good Realtor. However, in today’s market, my efforts to advertise and promote my home for sale by myself were futile. It was Tami’s voice and demeanor over the phone that encouraged me to meet with her. She had seen my “for sale – by owner’s sign” and was soliciting sales. When we met I found her to be a warm and personable lady who came prepared with a market analysis and commentary.
