Tim Birkmeier is Vice President of Web Mortgage Banking, responsible for the success of the entire Quicken Loans banking force. He joined Quicken Loans in 1996 and by 1997 has become a top banker. In 1998, he was promoted to a Director of Mortgage Banking and in 2004 he became Regional Vice President, building his region to 150 bankers. In 2007, he was promoted to Site Vice President of the Scottsdale, Arizona, office, growing the site to a banker force of 180 team members.

Tim is a cancer survivor who draws inspiration from Winston Churchill. Tim's advice is to understand the power of the human spirit. His favorite expression is "The speed of the leader determined the rate of the pack." He and his wife Malyka are proud parents of three children, Meli, Xavier, and Seri.

Tim graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in political economics. He earned his MBA with a concentration in finance from Wayne State University.
