Get to know Susan Elder
Susan Elder is a licensed Realtor®. After spending nearly a decade in medical sales in the ever changing healthcare field, Susan decided to pursue her passion in real estate. Her career in real estate started as a buyer’s specialist on a real estate team at Keller Williams Classic Realty Northwest. She then moved on from the team to incorporate listings into her repertoire and to work on building her own team.
At the beginning of 2015, Susan decided to move her business to the Keller Williams Premier Realty Lake Minnetonka office and brought on her first teammate, Lindsey.
Susan lives in Plymouth with her rescue Greyhound, Jazz. She is a foodie and very passionate about cooking. She has auditioned for Master Chef with Gordon Ramsey and made the top 3% of cooks in the country but, sadly, they only cast the top 2%! Having made a good showing, Susan was asked to audition for The Taste with Anthony Bourdain. Susan says, “I think there is a direct link to delicious food and a place you call home. It makes the journey complete.”
She is active in the community and various non-profit organizations. Her favorites have been teaching Therapeutic Horseback riding to disabled children with We Can Ride and, naturally, the Cook for Kids events with the Ronald McDonald House. She was voted for the Unsung Hero Award from City Pages for her volunteer work in the community. Susan considers this award one of her greatest accomplishments.
Susan knows the local real estate market well and has helped people sell their current homes and has placed many into the home of their dreams. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them open that next chapter in their lives. This is why she finds real estate such a rewarding career.
