Living and raising a family of five in New Braunfels TX has been the best decision we made in June of 2009. Having met my husband in Austin at the University of Texas and spending 17 years as Navy wife living in Florida, Washington, and Hawaii, I was looking forward to my husband's retirement from the US Navy and our new life back in Texas. New Braunfels TX proved to be the best place for us to raise a family. A combination of great schools, captivating scenery, abundant water recreation, and proximity to Austin and San Antonio were the primary reasons we decided to call New Braunfels TX home.
Shortly thereafter, I became a Realtor® and now I have the opportunity to share my enthusiasm and love for New Braunfels TX and the surrounding communities with the growing number of people considering residence in this area. A small town with all the amenities of a big city within 30-45 minutes, New Braunfels is the perfect place to get away from it all while still being close enough to shopping, dining, live music, museums, universities, cultural activities, and over 500 acres of outdoor recreation. But you don't have to leave New Braunfels TX to frequent unique boutiques, cool off at the world renowned Shlitterbahn water park, kick up your heels at the old Gruene dance hall, float down the Guadalupe and Comal river, or just have coffee with friends after visiting the Farmer's Market downtown.
