Get to Know Terry Kuehn
Originally licensed as a Real Estate Salesman in 1971 to help and assist tax and accounting clients, I have remained active within the real estate industry maintaining working relationships with buyers, sellers, builders, developers and residential support and compliance personnel at all levels. As such, I have over thirty years of progressive involvement in accounting and real estate, with emphasis in residential construction and development. Aside from family and friends, my interests lie in Mother Nature, music, and the art of the deal. As to Mother Nature, I find her to be a most fascinating individual, especially in how she melds flora, fauna, glaciers and deserts. As to music, I relish the works of many classical composers but am also a fond admirer of Celtic and heraldic compositions in addition to hard rock and heavy metal. My love of music has caused me to produce and promote many live stage performances over the years, all causing me to love and enjoy music even more. As to the art of the deal, a few individuals that interest and intrigue me the most are Alexander Peabody, Arthur Fiedler, Bill Muncey, Donald Trump, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Erwin Rommel, George Patton, James J. Ling, James J. Hill, Jerry Lee Lewis, Joshua Green, Michael Milken, Muhammad Ali, Sun Tzu, T. Boone Pickens, Trammell Crow and Warren Buffett. As to "real estate," I find it to be a most fascinating endeavor, laden with challenges and opportunities. As to a locale of preference, I prefer keeping to my own back yard, that being Tacoma and Pierce County --- here is where I find myself to be most valuable, not only to myself and to my family, but also to any person or entity desiring to locate, re-locate or invest in. As to methodology, I am a staunch advocate of the Self Directed Roth IRA and its ability to function in an LLC. Post secondary education includes Bookkeeping & Accountancy, Accounting & Business Administration, Real Estate Principles & Practices, Federal Tax Management, Paralegal Studies and Real Estate Law. ~ ~ ~ Prior to any real estate or accounting endeavors, after I graduated from high school I enlisted into the United States Navy and after completion of basic training in San Diego, California, I received orders to report to Naval Station Pearl Harbor where I was to be assigned duty aboard U.S. Naval fleet tanker USS HASSAYAMPA (AO-145) home port Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Serving aboard HASSAYAMPA for the duration of my four years of active duty, I was blessed with the opportunity of being able to visit many ports of call in the Western & South Pacific and the Orient including a very special visit to Australia. Lewis Washington. After serving for two two-year terms, I returned to total-civilian status. Needless to say, those four years of reserve deployment rekindled memories of old....... ###
