Why pick me?  That is a hard question.  I don't feel comfortable with it.  It's not that I don't think I am good enough.  I would confidently stand next to any agent.  I pride myself on being informed, available, tenacious, and respectful.  I combine that with a work ethic that has its roots in Midwestern immigrant farmers.  Does that make me better than my fellow agents?  Perhaps some of them, but certainly not all.  Most agent I know work their butts off for their clients, just like me.

The truth is that I am not the best choice for everyone. This business is about relationships, and we all have different things that we are looking for in our relationships.  I am approachable, patient, and sometimes funny.  But I am also no nonsense.  I don't enjoy small talk.  I don't want to have discussions with my clients about politics or religion.  I expect them to work with me to achieve their goals.  I want the process to be as enjoyable as possible, but I don't take my eye off the ultimate goal.  That approach is not for everyone.  So, to anyone reading this, no matter which agent you choose, make the choice based on who you feel comfortable with, on who you feel you can trust.  Ignore the designations and the claims of superior service.  Spend some time with a few agents and let your gut tell you who to choose.

Right now I am working almost exclusively with buyers, which is wonderful.  I also do some work with renters.  I don't do property management, but I am happy to assist people who are looking to rent.

I haven't been in Real Estate long enough to have carved out a speciality.   I am trying to work a little in all areas so that I can have a more complete picture of My Market.

Aside from Real Estate, I volunteer at my kid's school.  I do music activities with the younger one.  There is no way you can have a bad day after hearing 8 three-year-old children sing "No More Monkey's Jumpin' on the Bed" at the top of their lungs.  I do book clubs with my older one.

I am Mom to two great kids. As I continue to nurture their spiritual, emotional, and physical growth, I am also working hard to build a career that I can be proud of. I hope they'll be proud too.
