Stewart Title, affiliated with Stewart Title Guarantee, was started in 1893, as an abstract company and has expanded it's service and developed over the years, into a nationwide company.  As many important documents were lost during hurricane Katrina,  Stewart Title did not loose a single file.   All of our files are backed by discs, daily.   We have in house abstractors and a centralized post closing department. all of our files are backed by discs. 

We have a very professional attorney on staff to handle all of our closings and she makes sure all parties understand what they are signing. 

We also have a Spanish interpreter available for closings, at no cost to you. (Please give us prior notice if one is needed).

Stewart Title of LA also gives back to the community.  This year our main focus is the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit for Children's Hospital in New Olreans.  The facility was designed to do 5 surgeries a month and is averaging 35 surgeries a month.  We have given over $20,000 so far for 2008 and are giving in addition to that $20.00 for every file closed with us.  We have given in the past to the Partick Taylor Cancer Foundation (Hope Lodge) and are still giving to them as well.
