I then moved to Central Oregon in 1996 and have lived in Sunriver, Bend and LaPine. I am a very dedicated, hard working and honest. Central Oregon is, in my opinion one of the best places in the world. Where else can you find so many diverse activities for every season of the year. Of course, many of the activites have to do with the outdoors. How can you go wrong? From snow skiing at Mt. Bachelor, snowmobiling at Paulina, or crosscountry skiing around Diamond Lake, winter time sports are truly the best in Central Oregon. Taking advantage of Sunriver Resort at any time of the year can make even a day trip most memorable. There are endless biking trails, use of any of the swimming pools and don't forget the world renound golf courses - Crosswater (home of the Jeldwen Traditions), Woodlands, Meadows and Caldera. Summer fun is never far from home. There are easily 15 lakes close to Bend, Sunriver and La Pine that make great use of the long summer days. If you are looking to use your water skies, air chairs or wakeboards Wikiup Reservoir or Lake Billy Chinook are two great choices. If you are looking for a smaller lakes that you can swim across like South Twin, that I actually swam when I was 12 years old, there are also many to chose from. Fishing is also very popular in Central Oregon, like the 14 pound Brown caught by Mr. Brown of La Pine or fly fishing in the Deschutes River near Wild River subdivision. If hiking is your thing, you must check out Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne. Here you will find beautiful day hikes and rock climbing. Fort Rock, near Christmas Valley is another great place to hike. If you are interested in the "desert" the Dunes can be a great place to explore - located close to Christmas Valley. For the hunting enthusiast there are many opportunities. Big Horn Sheep tags if you are lucky enough to attain make for a once in life time hunt. Deer and Elk are also popular hunting tags. These are only some of the activites that make living in Central Oregon so wonderful. Living in Central Oregon is truly a lifestyle - come and live yours.
