Although I am retired now, my husband and I owned an investigation agency which focused mainly on researching and serving as a witness in cases involving mortgage loan fraud.  Prior to that I was in the insurance industry writing policies for homeowners and commercial enterprises.  My insurance background has proven very useful to help advise real estate clients of my daughter and her partner in their real estate agency,
