During this time I have sold homes, townhouses and apartments on the island ranging from $700,000 to $18,000,000. I also am very active helping people rent properties,either seasonally or annually. Palm Beach is a very unique market with an average home sale price of $4.1 million. No market in Florida compares to the value of Palm Beach real estate. This surprised me when I first learned this believing that Jupiter Island, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Naples all had homes that sold at Palm Beach prices. This is not true - 3 years ago, there were three house sales in Palm Beach, all greater than $65 million! Since then, there have been numerious $20 million dollar sales. Buyers appreciate Palm Beach because of the close proximity to the airport, the exceptional homes / neighborhoods, the shopping that exists on Worth Avenue, the fine restaurants, all the social activities and the beautiful Caribbean blue waters that exist here but not further north. For real estate purposes, the island is divided into 3 sub-markets: the north-end, the in-town market and the Estate Section.
