Get to Know Doug Gialluca
Hi folks, I have spent 40 years of my life in construction and learning skill sets at a early age. This led me to the Home Inspection Industry with my company business beginning in 2005.
I am a ASHI Cetified Inspector (ACI) and previously for many years a NAHI Certified Inspector (CRI). I originally was also a graduate home inspector from the Home Inspection Institute in 2005.
I also hold a radon measurement license RT 715 with the Ohio Department of Health. There is not any way to know your radon level in your house without testing. Radon is the number two cause of lung cancer in the USA.
The earlier days consisting of efforts with doing home inspections for the Neighborhood Stabilzation Program (NSP). This was highly involved with the Canton City non profits with over 1000 inspection's performed.
I was also trained and certified in these efforts with three certificates as a Rehab Specialist and a Weatherization professional.
Smart Move Home Inspection LLC works for the client on one of the largest investments of there life, " A House".
My experience is around residential construction old and new. I have many years experience around new construction from the ground up, observing old and new techniques of foundation's.
There are many deficiencies created from the time of construction that may be there for the life of the home. The condition of a home can be evaluated by a thorough observation to determine what could be a major or just a minor deficiency.
There are many more issues today than ever because of the concern for energy efficiency.

Experienced in renovation work in all trades. Holding a comercial drivers license and worked as a construction trainer as well as on site weatherization professional. The constrruction training efforts were to teach young men and woman how to use tools properly on a construction site. This was part of PACT training as a effort of local non profit's and the department of labor.
