Roderick L. Smith, an Associate Broker of West Wood Realty, has been in the commercial and industrial real estate business for ten+ years.  Prior to joining West Wood he  worked with Dowsett Commercial Ltd and Cooper Commercial Ltd in Michigan in commercial sales and leasing.  At West Wood, Rod specializes in land sales, office, office/warehouse and retail sales and leasing, and investment opportunities in Rio Rancho and the Albuquerque West Side.

Rod's professional background also includes 20 years as founder/director of a marriage and family therapy practice, and he has a Ph.D. from Purdue University. He is a Six Sigma Process Improvement consultant, with clients such as the Zep Corporation, Wells Fargo, Park Nicolette Medical Systems and Household International.  Rod has also edited two of the best-selling books on Six Sigma.

Present activities at West Wood include marketing the Las Fuentes Executive Office Condos, Sandia View Business Center, office/warehouse complexes, high-image office complexes, commercial and industrial vacant land, and income properties. Past and current clients include, Titan Development, Rachael Mathews Homes, Kroger, Rite Aid, Rio West Business Park, U.S. Olympic Training, Wrangler Development, AMREP Southwest, Farmer's Insurance, and Sunoco.
