I was born and raised in Renton, Washington, and now live in Issaquah which is "just down the road" from Renton. Both cities are in the greater Seattle area, or Microsoft country for those techies out there! I have been married for 37 years and we have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. My husband, Dave, has been a builder/developer since 1976 and is now retired and I have learned much about construction over the years. I love keeping busy and enjoy people, so real estate is a good fit for me. When I have time for my hobbies, I enjoy quilting (abstract/non-traditional,) sewing, knitting/crocheting and my computer. We have a shih tzu named Frodo and prior to having a 10 pound dog, we had a wonderful German Shepherd named Rusty. We like big dogs, having had great danes and other German Shepherds, but after Rusty was hit and killed by a crazy motorist, we limped along without a dog for a few years before I convinced my husband that we really needed to get another dog. "A small dog that won't get hit by a car!" Frodo is a great companion but not too smart! We also had horses over the years and our daughter showed her horse in 4H. We have some nice trails to ride so I enjoyed getting out in the woods on horseback, but our horse adventures are over for the present time. I'm definitely an animal lover, married to a "city slicker" who does just fine without any animals around, thank you very much!
