Get to Know Sandra Hedenberg
Sandra has worked in the real estate industry since 1998. After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Marketing, she became the Director of Marketing in the new construction sales office of a condominium development company. This position allowed her to handle every aspect of a residential real estate transaction, so she has an invaluable understanding of both the seller’s and buyer’s perspective of residential real estate sales. She obtained her New Jersey real estate license in 2003 and has been successfully working with buyers and sellers in New Jersey for the past nine years. Recognizing the importance of constantly growing personally, she obtained her master’s degree in public relations from Rowan University and her New Jersey Real Estate Broker’s license in 2008.
Sandra’s upbeat attitude, outgoing personality and strong work ethic have enabled her to build lasting positive relationships with her clients and customers through the years. Always looking to challenge herself personally and professionally, she decided to expand her real estate career into the wonderful city of Philadelphia.

| It was completely by chance that I came across Tom and Sandy at Park Place Realty but I am forever grateful that it came to be. I had emailed a bunch of realtors about houses I saw online. Tom was the first one that called me back and he immediately said I’m your realtor, we’ll make this happen. I did not even have to meet him in person to know I had the right realtor. Throughout the home buying process Tom and Sandy were always there with any questions I had. My case was a bit more complicated than most since I am a medical resident with a heavy debt load to begin with. Tom and Sandy were constantly there to help me keep on top of my mortgage providers and my loan companies to make homeownership a possibility for me. If it was not for them I would have likely given up on the dream much earlier in the process. I now am the proud owner of my first condo less than a year from graduating medical school, which is something I could have never dreamed. | Tom and Sandy were a wonderful team to work with when buying my first home. I give their names to anyone I care about who are even thinking about a new home because they deserve the best, and these two are it. I had dealt a few other realtors prior to meeting Tom and was instantly impressed with the difference in professional demeanor, knowledge, and forethought the showed compared to the others. Sandy was a similar treat. Here is a team of realtors who know that their subject is not just property, but people. They are the only realtors I met with through the entire home buying process that seemed completely honest and really working as buyer’s agents for me rather than just seeing me as a commission. Instead of telling me about how every house we looked at would have been great for me, Tom and Sandy were quick to point out things I may have overlooked and gave real, thoughtful insight about each home. Tom was also excellent during negotiations, giving prudent advice and showing a knack for reading people. I told him what I would be happy to get the house for, what I would be comfortable paying, and the maximum I would want to get the house for. He managed a deal for less money than I had expected, considering the home’s short time on the market and accurate valuation. I couldn’t be happier with his service. Sandy’s knowledge helped me through the rest of the buying process, which went smoother than I would have ever imagined. She was beyond helpful, making the process simple, while not ignoring any detail. With her at my side, I really felt empowered, and it showed, the seller’s agent clearly had not done as good a job educating his client as Sandy had done with me. | Tom and Sandy from Parke Place Realty were recommended to me by two very good friends of mine who both had great experiences searching and eventually buying their first homes. Before I came to them, I met with a realtor from another agency. After meeting with him, I felt very disappointed and discouraged. Being a single person and having a limited budget, I thought I would never be able to find a suitable home in my price range. I began to question whether I should even be looking for a house at this time in my life. Tom and Sandy immediately exceeded my expectations. They were attentive, enthusiastic and never pushy throughout the whole process. I knew they really had my best interest at heart. I am very thankful that I chose them in making one of the biggest decisions and certainly the biggest purchase of my life so far. | We are extremely pleased with the service that we received from Parke Place Realty, specifically with Tom Sadler and Sandra Hedenberg. My husband and I relocated from New Jersey to Georgia, leaving our home in NJ empty. Imagine how stressful it can be to arrange the sale of a home from 800 miles away. Our deepest fear was that we were going to be forced to make several 12-hour trips back and forth from Georgia to New Jersey to handle the various details involved in the sale of the house. Not to mention we had deep concerns about leaving New Jersey our home unattended. We had no idea how long it would take to sell our town house. We knew that other town homes in the community were on the market for several months, and a few of them had been on the market for more than a year. Normally, handling a situation such as that would be a nightmare. That was not the case with Sandra and Tom. From the first day we met, they presented Parke Place Realty as a professional firm with a personal interest in their clients. We received current market information, guidance on our listing price, and even some helpful advice on preparing our town house for potential buyers. Sandra and Tom both went out of their way to provide my husband and I with exceptional service. Communication from Parke Place was very strong, and not once did we get the feeling that we were anything other than their very best client. Because we were several states away, Sandra and Tom both stepped in to help with inspections, permits, and miscellaneous activities associated with the sale of a home. They were on top of everything, taking a proactive approach to creating interest in our town house. In an economic time when it can take a year or more to sell a home, imagine how pleased we were when an offer was presented less than two weeks after we listed our home! Moreover, the price we received on the offer was within the range we hoped for, even though we anticipated receiving lower offers due to the slow housing market. Both Tom and Sandra deserve accolades for going above and beyond the service that most Real Estate Agents typically provide to their clients. To simply say “Thank You” seems grossly inadequate. We will never forget the personal attention and reassurance that was given to us from the beginning to the very end of the sales process. | I have only Good things to say about Parke Place Realty. My agents were Tom Sadler and Sandy Hedenberg and what a great team they were for me. I couldn't have been more impressed by their Professionalism and Dedication. They were there for me at every turn and every bump in the road. Tom and Sandy went above and beyond finding a buyer for my Mom's house. In addition, they found a loving home for my Mom's aged cat. They found someone to plow the driveway, after an unexpected snowstorm, so the Basement System guy could get in. and many other unforeseen mini crisis along the way. But most of all, the hand holding and encouraging words, when I was about to lose my mind. This wasn't to be the usual sale of a house and they always came through, making a very difficult time easier to bare. | In my time I’ve purchased three houses and sold one. The last purchase and sale was with Tom and Sandy at Parke Place Realty Co. They handled everything and gave detailed instructions for hoop jumping, necessary for the deal to go through. At first I tried to sell my parent’s house myself, because I didn’t think realtors were worth the money. I now know that these guys work all of the time and are worth every penny. They’re in constant communication with attorneys, title people, insurance agents and everybody else that has to be involved to make the deal go through. | My husband, Bill, and I were instantly at ease with Tom and Sandy, two of the warmest, most genuine people we’ve had the pleasure of working with. They went out of their way from the start to make our experience the best possible. Sandy even baked for us! Both Tom and Sandy truly understood what we were looking for in a home.
