Get to Know Ryan Smith
Born and raised here in Pleasanton, TX, which is the gateway to the brush country, I've worked cattle or hunted game in South Texas since I could walk so I know the ranching and hunting industry first hand. I played Division I baseball in college and then a season with the Cincinnati Reds organization. I am currently employed with the San Antonio Fire Department and when I am not putting out fires I am trying to sell a little piece of heaven in South Texas. I have a great wife and two wonderful sons. We love the small town, country atmosphere that Pleasanton has to offer.

With family members in all aspects of the ranching industry from, the family ranch (which has been in our family over 150 years), to selling bulls, to farming crops, farming turf, and a helicopter service (for cattle roundups, game surveys, etc.), I have a good base of knowlegde to learn from and to use in helping others find and run their ranch successfully.
