People that know me, know that I am passionate about helping people.  I have now completed the training and exam for the CDPE designation, Certified Distressed Property Expert.  Over the years I have dealt with many short sales for both buyers and sellers, and the education in this program will further aid me in helping eligible homeowners work through a short sale rather than having to go through a foreclosure.     Did you know that a foreclosure can impact a homeowner's current and future ability to maintain a security clearance?  That employers have the right to, and that many are actively running credit checks on job applicants, and that in many cases a foreclosure can be a challenge to employment?  That a foreclosure will remain as a public record on a person's credit history for 10 years or more?  These are just some of the reasons to consider a short sale instead of letting a property go to foreclosure.  Most people in financial distress don't realize that this is an option.   Do you know someone that is in a financially challenged position and has expressed concern about having their home go to foreclosure? Not all homeowners will be able to avoid foreclosure, of course, but many will, and through a no-obligation meeting with me, I can help people find out if a short sale is an option.  I hope you will consider referring me to people you know that are experiencing hardship to see if I can help them.
