I began working in Real Estate in 2002 after enjoying a successful career as a television producer. Many of the skills that I used in production were instantly transferable to real estate, and I continue to build my skills by constantly participating in classes and continuing education.
It's important for both buyers and sellers to be educated and I work especially hard at making sure that you understand the ins and outs, ups and downs of the market you're in. Helping sellers understand the current market conditions and the marketing process will help achieve the highest price for their home. Listening to buyers and responding to their needs is something that I excel at. As your agent, I will work toward the best situation for you.
As a more than 19-year resident of Glen Ridge, having had children in the school system, I am deeply committed to the community and active in local civic organizations. I not only know what's going on in Glen Ridge, but all of the communities in West Essex.
My husband, son, daughter and I moved to Glen Ridge in 1993 from New York City and we never looked back. The longer we’ve lived here the better and more cosmopolitan the area has become. We have all of the diversity, culture, restaurants and shopping that we enjoyed in the city right here in Essex County and we can still jump into the city whenever we want.
My goal is to simplify the process of buying and selling real estate, while building a successful and long lasting relationship with you. In this day and age, buyers and sellers have so much information at their fingertips, why should you even use a Realtor? Because it's hard for you to go it alone and why should you?
As a buyer, the seller is paying the Realtor and the idea that you'll get a better deal by going it alone is a myth. If you want to buy a home that's represented by an agent and you don't have your own agent, then the listiing agent is representing both sides of the transaction. While perfectly legal in NJ, why as a buyer would that be advantageous to you? As a buyer, you should have your own independant representation.
And selling a house is by no means an easy thing to do on your own. Are you prepared to do all the marketing, showing, and negotiating that I can do for you? My years of experience and knowledge will keep you from making costly mistakes.
