Lincoln County lies in the beautiful Piedmont region of North Carolina, locating us just 30 minutes NW of Charlotte, NC.  Lincoln County offers a regional airport and we are only 30 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.  We are 90 minutes from all the adventures of downtown Asheville NC, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park not too mention just a half day car ride to the North Carolina beaches.

Entertainment, sports and recreation are close by when you visit the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Bobcats, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Charlotte Motor Speedway / zMAX Dragway, Carowinds theme park and the US National White Water Center also used as a Olympic training site.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic drive to the northwest, and the Grand Strand at Myrtle Beach S.C. is a leisurely half days drive to the southeast.

Closer to home are several opportunities to enjoy the water, with Lake Norman, Lake James, Lake Wylie and Moss Lake.  North Carolina offers many state parks such as South Mountain, Crowder's Mountain, and Lake Norman which makes a great day trip from Lincoln County.

Local events such as the Apple Festival¸ Hog Happenin' and Denver Days celebrates the yearly apple harvest, bikes, BBQ and the support of many non-profit organizations.
