I started my construction career early, reading blueprints in junior high and construction trades at Conroe High for four years. After graduating I went to work with my stepdad at Baker Concrete Construction for nine months, realized concrete wasn't for me yet so I enlisted in the national guard for two years while working at a walmart. While getting ready to go active duty (regular army) my wife and I had our first of three kids, back to concrete construction were I remained for fifteen years. Learning field engineering and commercial carpentry and all that concrete stuff. Spending to much time away from family led me to become a home inspector were I find working for myself is more rewarding.
My area of expertise is in foundations, having been working in the construction industry for a number of years starting at a young impressionable age is were I owe my work ethics, by doing what was expected of me and being dependable. I rose through the ranks to supervisor and learned how to communicate with the general contractors and sometimes the client.
I have been involved with, but not limited to, the construction of Reliant Stadium, Minutemaid Park, MD Anderson, Anadarko Tower, Woodlands Hotel and Convention Center, and most state jail facilities.
