Rob is a second generation real estate broker and 4th generation Pocono resident and investor. It was Rob's great grandfather and his brother who bought land and built Lake Naomi in 1895 starting the Pocono Pines Ice Company. Today he works as a team with his wife, Mary. In 2012 they partnered with Keller Williams Real Estate and helped open the Pocono Pines Business Center. His specialty is the sale and rental of vacation homes and investment properties in the towns of Pocono Manor, Pocono Pines, Pocono Summit, Pocono Lake and Blakeslee as well as other surrounding communities.
In late 2013 Rob and Mary purchased a farm in Effort, PA and have begun raising alpacas.
Rob was first licensed in 1968 and worked part time with his parents while going to college. In 1974 he began to work full time, taking over as broker for the family firm in 1982 and has been at it ever since. Together with a partner he opened the first three RE/MAX franchises in the Poconos in 1988. They grew the company to 3 partners, 5 offices and 67 agents. In 2013 Rob divested his interests as a franchise owner and went back to the part of the business he enjoyed most, directly helping consumers buy and sell homes and investment properties.
Both Rob and Mary strongly believe in ongoing education and training. To that end they have the combined designations of ABR (Acredited Buyer Representitive), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Specialist), CREN (Certified Real Estate Negotiator), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate REALTORS Institute) and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist).
Rob is a past President of the Pocono Mountain Association of REALTORS and has served on numerous association committees at both the local and state levels. He is a founding member of Pocono Heritage Land Trust and the Tobyhanna Creek/Tunkhannock Creek Association.
