Michelle Rios in Washington, DC

Michelle has been a Washington D.C. resident since 1993. Remaining flexible and strategic in this everchanging environment has accelerated her extensive third party resources and support providers, she brings these relationships to everyassignment to create client-specific solutions.

Michelle brings a background in economic development and direct experience in municipal business development to the world of commercial real estate. She has managed business development programs including business recruitment, business retention, workforce development, marketing, media relations and deal structuring. Her efforts at the municipality level were used as a model on a statewide level to maximize benefit opportunities, creat jobs and generate property tax revenue. Because of her municipal business development experience, she understands the governmental approval prodess and politics, and can apply that knowledge for the benefit of investors.

Previous to real estate Michelle served as fundraiser to three U.S. Senators, one U.S. Representative and as a contract crisis communications analyst for the U.S. Navy.
