In his work with Phoenix Venture Capital, Richard Rinaolo draws upon more than two decades of experience in the real estate and construction fields. Prior to launching the fund, he served as a managing partner in the Lake Forest, Illinois-based NSVP Venture Fund, and as a managing partner with Questar Equity, a commercial real estate development firm that managed a portfolio of more than 185,000-square feet of commercial property.

In addition to his professional duties, Richard Rinaolo gives back to the local community through his support of the arts and charitable groups, such as Catholic Charities USA, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Lake Forest Open Lands Association.
